"Honestly I was working 25 hours a week at a coffee shop during prep so i didnt have time for the whole tutor thing. A friend sent me playntest and I just grinded the practice tests whenever i could. The marathon the week before the test was actually insane, like waking up at 6am to do timed sections. worth it though. 1560."

"i grew up speaking korean at home so the english sections were rough. My mom found playntest and the AI thing that explains why you got a question wrong — that part made the biggest difference. Most prep books just tell you the correct answer, but the AI actually breaks down what you were thinking and why it was wrong. very different from hagwon."

"Never took the SAT before, no idea what to expect. My brother used playntest last year and told me to start with the question bank, sort by math geometry, and just go. i did that for 2 months, then the full tests every weekend. 1530 first try. My parents didnt believe me."

"the vocab was killing me. french people think they know english but SAT reading is a different beast entirely. I used the vocabulary builder on playntest every day for like 3 months, even during my lycee lunch break. The flashcard system is good because you dont just memorize definitions, you see the word in a sentence. Went from 1380 to 1490. still cant believe the reading score."

"Started at 1270 and honestly didnt know if i could crack 1400. My counselor told me to aim for 1350 and be realistic lol. took me about 6 months but playntest made it doable. I just did one full practice test every saturday morning and reviewed every single question i got wrong, not just the ones i flagged. 1450. not a perfect score but for me it feels like one."

"I know 1490 is already a good score but i was aiming for ivy and needed higher. The last 80 points are the hardest and i kept bouncing between 1490 and 1520 on practice tests. The question bank with filtering by hard difficulty is what got me over the edge. spent two weeks doing nothing but hard math and hard reading passages. hit 1570 on the real thing. pretty surreal."

"First time i took the SAT i panicked on math module 2 and ran out of time. left like 4 questions blank. For my retake I used the blitz mode on playntest to practice pacing, 60 seconds per question, no pausing. sounds stressful (it is) but after two weeks of blitz, the real test felt slow. I had 7 minutes to check my answers. 1550. would recommend blitz even though i hated every second of it."
